As well as overhauling the UI to allow for more flexibility and readability, the controller controls have also been redesigned from the ground up and more customization options have been added to the combat and interaction systems. To the already known accessibility features God of War From 2018, Ragnarök has added many more to the game, giving it more than 60 ways to best customize the game to your style and needs.

The following adjustments have already been announced:

  • Improvements to subtitles and captions
  • Scalable text and icon size
  • Controller reassignment
  • High contrast mode
  • Navigation and movement aid
  • audio cues

On the Playstation blog the individual areas are presented in more detail, sometimes with short videos. The other categories of accessibility features, such as combat and aim assists, puzzle and mini-game assists, HUD customization, camera settings, and auto-collect, are also planned to be introduced in the near future.

On the occasion of today’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day (worldwide day of action for digital accessibility, which takes place every third Thursday in May), a special version of the God of War – Ragnarok trailers from last year with English audio description published (age verification required).
