GTA 6 may not come until 2026, according to the Take Two roadmap
When comes GTA 6? This is a question fans have been asking themselves for quite some time and maybe one will bring one current roadmap from publisher Take Two Interactive finally some more light into the darkness. The good news: Apparently some leaks are wrong. The bad: Maybe “GTA 6” won’t appear before 2026.
GTA 6 leak was apparently fake, release probably later
That’s what it’s about: It is clear that Rockstar is working on “GTA 6”. It was even already officially confirmed. Other than that, we don’t know anything for sure about the next installment in the blockbuster series. Neither what it’s about or where it’s set, nor How long does it takeuntil we can finally get started. But of course there is heaps of rumors and alleged leakswhich revolve around all these topics.

Direct comparison shows Fake: Apparently the allegedly leaked Take Two pipeline for the period of the financial years 2023 to 2025 traded as a fake. At least we now know the officially published roadmap and it looks very different. At least as far as the games are concerned and above all it differs with regard to GTA 6.

There is no trace of GTA 6: In the Take Two’s official pipeline is only talking about the financial years 2022 to 2024, but it would nonetheless according to the supposed leak, supposedly for the second half of the calendar year 2024 fall within this period. In the real roadmap, however, a new GTA does not appear at all.
What does that mean? The possibilities are manifold: The most likely effect is that GTA 6 only sometime in 2025 or 2026 appears. However, there is of course still the possibility that Take Two simply does not want to look at the cards and therefore simply does not reveal when the blockbuster is coming, but it is already planned.

Whatever it is exactly: Apparently we have to wait a while for it, until we can play the next GTA part. Fans could slowly but surely run out of patience, after all GTA 5 was originally released back in 2013 – almost ten years ago.
