WRC Generations announced: date, trailer and first details

Nacon and KT Racing have announced the latest installment in the racing game series, WRC Generations.

The official game of the FIA ​​World Rally Championship should offer you a high degree of realism this year as well.

Numerous improvements

According to Nacon, there are many improvements and tweaks that the community has been asking for. Hybrid cars are also included. The mixture of electric motor and combustion engine should provide a new driving experience, which is also reflected in the sound design.

You can still find the vehicles from the predecessors in WRC Generations, these should be presented even more authentically. A total of more than 37 cars await you.

The 13 rallies of the 2022 season and nine other locations are included, resulting in a total of 22 different countries and 165 special stages. This also includes the new Swedish route.

“It is the only completely snow-covered rally with physics that comes even closer to the actual conditions,” it says.


New offline and online content

The ability to manage hybrid-powered cars will also be added to the skill tree in Career. WRC Generations league mode pits you against each other in daily and weekly challenges and fight for the top of the leaderboards.

Use the team system to create your own team or join another, while the livery editor provides customization. You can also share your creations with others in WRC Generations.

You can also take part in practice races in split screen or online and enjoy the racing experience together in co-driver mode.

WRC Generations will be released on October 13, 2022 first for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC and Nintendo Switch versions will follow later.
