Buy PS5: New console covers in fresh colors are coming in June

It’s getting colorful for the Sony PS5. From mid-June, players can enjoy three new colors for controllers and the console itself.

If that doesn’t fit into your stuff or your living room, you have few options so far. Sony itself has so far only offered the option of covering the PlayStation with a console cover in black or red. Now it’s finally getting colorful! Both DualSense controllers and console covers will be sold in three new colors for the Sony PS5 from June.

What new colors will there be for PS5 controllers and covers? If there was previously only a choice between black, white and red, Sony will double its color selection in the PS5 range in June. From June you will also be able to buy controllers and covers for the console in the new colors Galactic Purple, Starlight Blue and Nova Pink via Sony’s in-house PS5 sales platform PlayStation Direct. One could certainly also simply speak of purple, blue and pink, but apparently Sony wants to make new colors for the PS5 a real event.

When can you buy the new PS5 controllers and covers? Those who live in America can already pre-order the PS5 controllers and covers in the three new colors. The PS5 hardware with a new coat of paint will then be delivered on June 17, 2022. However, we in Europe seem to have to do without pre-ordering Galactic Purple, Starlight Blue and Nova Pink. Sony gives in official playstation blog announced that in France, Belgium or Germany there will be Early Access sales of the new controllers and PS5 covers from June 17th. The strongest elbow will probably get the bid for the new hardware in mid-June.
