No kidding: It’s 2022 and Skyrim is out again

The year is 2022. All platforms have been occupied by Skyrim. All platforms? No! A few isolated game consoles do not yet have every single edition of the role-playing game released in 2011 in their shop. While the resistance is fierce, even the bravest Todd Howard games library must eventually admit defeat.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition will also be released for Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch, which is very popular among fans, is now suffering the same fate. For the tenth anniversary of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim in 2021, Bethesda released a special Anniversary Edition, which, among other things, brought a fishing system into the game. The edition also includes all three released DLCs and some additional content.

So far, this edition has not yet been released for the Nintendo Switch, but like the site Switch Brazil discovered, there is an entry for Skyrim -Anniversary Edition for the Nintendo Switch on a rating board. The entry does not offer much information, but it was probably added on May 15, 2022.

When a previously unannounced game shows up on a rating board, an official announcement is usually not far away. Also, games often do not get an official entry if a release is still a long way off. For example, in the past, the Castlevania Advance Collection was spotted on an Australian rating board, which was actually published a little later.
