We’ve got a little update for you if you’re looking to purchase a Community Day Special Research ticket, The Hard Road, with Alolan Gem – it’s available now in the Pokémon Go store! Below you can see the potential steps and rewards of A Hard Road. The information is not final, however, because so far there is no special research in the game – and accordingly no confirmation of the tasks.

Original message from May 13, 2022: After the Community Day with Velursi in Pokémon Go for most players was the absolute hit – a new Pokémon in the game and then also as Shiny – the Community Day event in May 2022 is more of a small disappointment. The focus of the event is Alolan Kleinstein and yes, many of you will have already snagged the pocket monster in some form. But there are certainly also beginners among the coaches who have not yet struck. Then they should do it on May 25th, because Alolan Geowaz is a very skilled fighter in Raids and Battle League! Here is all the information about Community Day with Alola Kleinstein.

Pokémon Go Community Day with Alola Kleinstein

Danger! Unlike Community Day with Velursi, Community Day with Alolan Kleinstein (on May 21, 2022) will not take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. but from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!

  • During the event period, Alolan Gem appears more frequently in the wild and can also spawn as a Shiny.
  • Evolve Alolan Georok (the evolution of Alolan Smallstone) during the event or up to two hours after to have your Alolan Geowaz learn the Waltz fast attack. This fast attack deals 4 damage in trainer battles; 14 damage in Arena Battles and Raid Battles.

    Remember that if you trade the Pokémon beforehand, the evolution from Goerok to Geowaz becomes free!
  • 3x Catch Stardust
  • double catch candies
  • Double chance of Kleinstein Candy XL for catching Alola Kleinstein
  • Smoke lasts for three hours during the event.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Take some snaps during Community Day – you might be in for a surprise!
  • During the event and up to two hours after, you can make one additional special exchange (maximum 2 that day).
  • Each exchange costs 50% w during the event and up to two hours after
  • For €0.99 you can unlock an exclusive special research for Community Day with Alola Kleinstein: A Rocky Road! You can now gift the ticket for the Community Day special research to friends! To do this, simply tap on the special research ticket in the shop and then on “Give away” instead of “Buy”. Gifting is not possible if the recipient has already purchased or gifted a Special Research ticket.
  • If enough Pokémon are caught at a PokéStop with a Lure Module, the 3x Catch Stardust for Trainers near that PokéStop will be increased to 4x Catch Stardust for 30 minutes. This bonus does not count towards the already applicable 3x Catch Stardust, but replaces it.
  • In the shop you can buy a one-time Community Day box for 975 PokéCoins, which contains 1 Super Incubator, 1 Lucky Egg, 1 Top Instant TM and 1 Star Piece.
  • There’s also a free box of 30 Hyper Balls available in the shop – get them before the event ends!

Community meet-ups are also happening again; in German-speaking countries in the following cities: Linz and Vienna in Austria, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich, Oberhausen, Hamburg, Dortmund, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Hanover and Bonn in Germany.   • Use 10 power-ups on Pokémon – Reward: 15 x Poke Balls
  • Catch 15 Alola Gem – Reward: Encounter with Alola Kleinstein
  • Land 5 good throws – Reward: Encounter with Kleinstein

Reward for completing step 1: 2,000 Stardust, Lure Module x1, Small Stone Candy x15

A rocky road! – Step 2/4

  • Catch 15 Alola Gem – Reward: 30 Small Stone Candy
  • Send 10 Pokemon – Reward: Encounter with Alola Kleinstein
  • Evolve 3 Alola Gem – Reward: 10 x Pineapple Berry

Reward for completing step 2: 1,500 experience points, 1 x Knursp, encounter with Kleinstein

A rocky road! – Step 3/4

  • Land three great curveball throws – Reward: 50 Small Stone Candy
  • Evolve a Georok – Reward: 1 x smoke
  • Send 10 Pokemon – Reward: 15 x Super Ball

Reward for completing step 3: 2,500 experience points, 1 x Rocket Radar, 15 x Hyper Ball

  • Done automatically – Reward: 2 x Silver Pineapple Berry
  • Done automatically – Reward: Encounter with Alolan Georok
