A lot of power in the most compact form possible: Samsung has taken on this challenge with its new laptops Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 successfully placed. The two notebooks are among the slimmest and lightest devices in their class, but still score with great performance and many practical features.
Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro: Lightweight with lots of power

The Galaxy Book2 Pro is a classic laptop that Samsung offers with display diagonals of 13.3 and 15.6 inches. In both cases, you get an extremely high-contrast and viewing-angle stable AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
With a thickness of just 11.2 millimeters for the 13-inch model and 11.7 millimeters for the 15-inch version, the new Galaxy Books are also very slim. In addition, both devices are among the lightest laptops in their size classes, weighing just 870 and 1,110 grams respectively. This makes them ideal for mobile use and commuting between the home office and the office.

Despite the compact design, the Galaxy Book2 Pro has good connection options: In addition to a classic USB-A port and a USB-C port, there is Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, a headphone jack and a slot for microSD cards.

The Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is also available in display sizes of 13.3 and 15.6 inches, Samsung also uses AMOLED displays with Full HD resolution here. The big difference to the Galaxy Book2 Pro is that they are touchscreens. They can be folded up to 360 degrees using a flexible hinge, so you can transform the laptop into a large tablet in no time at all. In addition, there is the S Pen, which is suitable for both creative and technical drawing thanks to more than 4,000 pressure levels. Best of all, the pen is already included in the scope of delivery.
Despite its hybrid design, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is also a slim lightweight. With a thickness of 11.5 millimeters and a weight of 1,040 grams for the 13-inch version and 11.9 millimeters and 1,410 grams for the 15-inch model, the hybrid model is also perfect for on the go.
In terms of connections, Samsung offers two USB-C 3.2 Gen1, one Thunderbolt 4 as well as a jack and a microSD card reader.
The S Pen masters more than 4,000 pressure levels.

Intel Evo guarantees great performance
The Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 meet the technical requirements for the Intel Evo Certification. For this, a laptop has to meet high demands in terms of performance, hardware features and runtime. The new Galaxy Books manage this thanks to the built-in 12th generation Intel processors. Both laptops are offered with either an Intel Core i5-1240P or Core i7-1260P, whereby the i7 stands out from the i5 primarily due to its higher clock rate. The processor’s own Intel Iris Xe graphics unit provides graphics power.
The Intel Evo certification guarantees good performance and long runtimes.

Strong performance is also guaranteed with WLAN connections. Thanks to Intel, the Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 support the latest WiFi protocol Wi-Fi 6e, which, in combination with a compatible router, enables the use of the interference-free and fast 6 GHz frequency band. The Galaxy Book2 Pro is even optionally available as a 5G model.
The certification with Intel Evo is also noticeable in the battery life. Samsung promises runtimes of up to 21 hours for all models in all versions. In addition to high-resolution full HD webcams, there is also the studio mode developed by Samsung with optional image optimization for video calls. Auto-framing, for example, ensures that your face is always in focus during video chats.
Integrated with the Samsung ecosystem
The Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 are also well integrated into Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem. This means the laptops work seamlessly with other Samsung devices.

An example of this is the Quick Share function, with which you can transfer content completely wirelessly from a Galaxy smartphone or tablet to the notebooks via Wi-Fi Direct technology in no time at all. Apps known from smartphones, such as Samsung Notes, can also be used on the Galaxy Books. The notes are automatically saved and synced across all devices with the same Samsung account.
Current Samsung tablets from the Galaxy Tab S7 or Galaxy Tab S8 series can also be used wirelessly as an external display for the Galaxy Book2 Pro or Galaxy Book2 Pro 360. The Second Screen app required for this is installed on the laptops at the factory.
Protected privacy
When it comes to security, the Galaxy Book2 Pro and the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 do not show any weaknesses either. Both meet the requirements of a so-called Secured Core PC issued by Microsoft. In addition to hardware and firmware protection via the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, such devices offer additional software and identity protection: Personal data such as IDs, passwords and fingerprints are isolated in a separate storage location.
