With the May 2022 update, the developers in Lost Ark unlocked the new Valtan raid. However, it is currently causing more frustration than pleasure, because in addition to a forced logout due to maintenance work, a loot bug destroys the gaming experience.

The May 2022 update of Lost Ark should actually be a reason for fans of the MMOARPG to be happy, after all there is an interesting new endgame content with the Valtan Legion Raid. But this is exactly what is currently causing more problems, which is why players are frustrated. The unscheduled maintenance work last week also played its part.

Maintenance locks players out of the raid

The anticipation of the fans for the new raid gave way to the first moments of frustration on May 19, 2022, when the servers of Lost Ark (buy now €19.99) suddenly shut down due to unplanned maintenance. Although Amazon Games already distributed compensation to the community, nevertheless, many fans are angry. Because some players were in the middle of the Valtan raid at the time of the server down and were kicked out of the game. Particularly bitter for them: When they logged back in after the end of the maintenance work, they locked the game out of the raid or denied them access to the next higher gate for the rest of the week.

Affected fans are now complaining extensively about the situation in the official Lost Ark forum and are waiting for re-entry tickets to be sent, which will reset their raid counter, but so far without success. Community Manager Shadow_Fox has already spoken up and apologized on behalf of the team for the circumstances, but measured by the reactions of the users, this only seems like a drop in the bucket.

Loot bug in Valtan raid destroys the game

Meanwhile, a bug with the loot system in the Valtan raid is causing even more trouble: it can currently happen that loot and UI elements get stuck on your mouse cursor, so you can no longer click on anything in the game – a game-breaking bug. The reddit user Sagezu shows in a video how this error manifests itself in the game:
