There is first footage of PS1 games that are part of the new PlayStation Plus on the PlayStation 5.

For example, one of the games you can play with PlayStation Plus Premium is Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.

First gameplay impressions

A first gameplay video delivers VGCit also shows the new possibilities that result from the emulation, such as visual settings, a rewind function and different saved games.

However, as VGC notes, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee has crashed multiple times on PS5. It’s thought to be related to the visual settings being changed too many times in a row.

The new PlayStation Plus will be launched in the Asian markets on May 23, 2022.

Other regions of the world will have to be patient. Japan will follow on June 1, 2022, North and South America on June 13, 2022 and Europe on June 22, 2022.

Access select PS1 games with PlayStation Plus Premium, the most expensive of three options on the new PS Plus. It costs you 16.99 euros per month, 49.99 euros per quarter or 119.99 euros per year.

Games from PS1, PlayStation 2 and PSP can be played there via download and streaming, PS3 games currently only via streaming.
