Where did the leak come from? The rumor storm has broken out around Warzone 2. A confusing leak about Warzone 2 recently came to light. It was about some features that many other insiders had previously suspected in the leaked DMZ game mode of Modern Warfare 2. What does the leak say? On the one hand, Tom Henderson speaks of classic maps that should be included in Warzone 2. Throughout the Warzone 2 map, players should find maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 from 2009. Another important point in the leak are the so-called fortresses. These should also be scattered all over the map and have a massive impact on the Battle Royale’s loadout mechanics.

What about fortresses? In total, according to Tom Henderson, there are between 25 and 30 fortresses in Warzone 2. They serve to give the players something to do that goes beyond simply buying UAVs and loadouts. The fortresses in Warzone 2 are said to be of different sizes. Henderson suspects in his leak that there are about three large fortresses and about 20 to 25 smaller ones.

How do the forts work? According to Tom Henderson, the fortresses in Warzone 2 are guarded by AI units. Players have to turn them off and complete tasks to get a loadout. Henderson describes the duties as “objectives“. It can therefore be assumed that these are activities such as capturing flags. Once a squad has captured a fortress in Warzone 2, no other team has access to it. The insider does not reveal what exactly that means in his leak. Source: exporter.com
