Tchia: New footage of open world tropical island adventure

The developers at awaceb deliver new impressions of the New Caledonia-inspired adventure Tchia in the mini-feature, which is scheduled for release in early 2023 for Xbox Series, PS5 and PC.

The focus is on exploring the island: With a boat you can go on longer tours, climb trees and discover new areas by diving.

With the “Soul Jumping” function, the eponymous heroine Tchia can gain control of every animal and object. A total of over 30 should be available. It is also possible to play the ukulele using different techniques. The instrument has been integrated into the gameplay and has an impact on areas of the open world.

This was inspired by New Caledonia. The folklore, music and language of the small island in the South Pacific should play a major role in Tchia.
