Valheim: Developers teaser new crafting station and special mushrooms
The developers of Valheim have released a new update post on Steam, giving fans a preview of upcoming content. Included are, among other things, a new crafting station and two special mushrooms. We summarize what fans can expect in terms of news.
On May 25, 2022, it was time for another Valheim developer update. As usual, the team behind the Viking survival game published a blog post on Steam to give fans a preview of upcoming new content and to chat about the further development of their title. There were a few interesting teasers to see.
Of traps, workbenches and – mushrooms?
First of all, the developers mentioned the bear trap presented in an earlier post. This is an oversized tool that players can use to capture various enemies in the game. However, the team also warns that players must be careful not to step on the trigger of the trap themselves – so friendly fire seems possible.
Finally, the developers also released a look at two new mushrooms that will also come into play with the Mistlands update. These mushrooms are special variants that are said to be required for the update’s cooking recipes. The team is also still silent about these recipes, but will go into more detail in a later blog post. We stay curious!
