Update from 05/28/2022, 09:50 a.m.: It seems increasingly unlikely that the rumor about a possible pre-order campaign at MMS in May will come true – on the one hand because of the huge drop in the last week, on the other hand because May is basically over.

But that doesn’t automatically mean that the prospects for further PS5 supplies from MediaMarkt and Saturn are generally bad at the moment. Because a new month is about to begin and both dealers, along with Amazon and OTTO, are among the largest and most important PS5 providers in Germany. Should Sony just as generously push fresh consoles in June, it is quite possible that things will soon get exciting again at MediaMarkt and Saturn – possibly as early as the coming week.

After there was a mega drop over six hours recently, the PS5 situation in Germany seems to have calmed down in general. Nevertheless, there are still rumors about a pre-order campaign at the two dealers, which is scheduled to take place later this month. Nothing has surfaced yet, but the month is drawing to a close. Maybe it will start directly in the branches today. We keep an eye on the situation for you.
