Evil Dead: The Game: Patch 1.0.5 with bug fixes and against cheating
Patch 1.0.5 for Evil Dead: The Game should fix many small bugs, mission errors, annoying balancing and cheating problems. In addition, the title should now be more stable and no longer crash in certain missions. Read below about all the improvements the developers have made in the game.
Evil Dead: The Game is for Saber Interactive great commercial success. In less than five days, more than 500,000 units of the game have already been sold and the developers are busy fixing problems with the title. Patch 1.0.5, which is intended to solve several problems at the same time, was released in line with this. A recent issue with the title is cheating. While patch 1.0.5 doesn’t have cheating as its primary focus, speed hacks, fake usernames, changing character models, and over-the-top regeneration will be eliminated.

However, the developers are planning a regular update that is intended to explicitly address this problem. In addition, there is an improvement in server stability, which was previously not optimal. Also, to ensure more fairness, an exploit that allowed players to cancel animations faster and therefore perform certain actions faster than their opponents and intended by the game has been fixed. The bugs that prevented certain commands from being entered while players were possessed by the demon have also been fixed, and the healing models for Cheryl and Ash from Evil Dead 1 have been rebalanced, as has the pistol ability.
On the PS4 version, the trophy award has also been revised and should now work. Fixed a scripted error in mission 5 that caused a crash when using the pause menu on all platforms.
