Sony confirms: Several series adaptations to exclusive titles are planned

Rumors have recently surfaced about a potential PC launcher for PlayStation games. But apparently you want to expand not only in the PC, but also in the TV series market. Sony announced at an investor meeting that it would several TV adaptations work on popular PlayStation exclusives. The series will appear on either Netflix or Prime Video.

Series adaptations to God of War and Gran Turismo planned

At an investor meeting on May 26, PlayStation Productions Chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra announced that God of War, Horizon and Gran Turismo Series adaptations are planned. While God of War is slated for release on Amazon Prime Video, the Horizon series is slated for a Netflix release. For Gran Turismo, however, no streaming provider has been named.


There is no further information at this time. Neither Sony itself nor the development studios have indicated whether well-known characters from the games will appear or how strongly they will be based on them. By the way, there were rumors about a possible God of War series at the beginning of the year.

Sony is expanding into video game adaptations
