First details on Jedi: Survivor

The game is being created under the direction of game director Stig Asmussen and is set to build on the story, characters and combat from part one.

“Even before Jedi: Fallen Order was completed, our team had a vision of how we would continue the adventure of Cal, BD and the crew in a sequel,” Asmussen comments.

“For Jedi: Survivor, we’re working closely with Lucasfilm Games to continue the story of Jedi: Fallen Order. We’re using modern technology to continue Cal’s story with more dynamic Jedi combat and cinematic storytelling as Cal survives and matures in the dark ages We can’t wait to tell the world more about the game later this year.”

Five years later

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set five years after Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal Kestis continues to be on the run from the Empire and must always stay one step ahead.

Over the course of his journey, he and BD-1 are said to bond with a “variety of unique and interesting characters.” Likewise, one would like to expand the dynamic fights “in a new and innovative way”. Cal must strengthen his connection to the Force to gain new abilities.

“Cal Kestis’ story has captivated millions of Star Wars fans, and we’re excited to continue this epic narrative alongside the world-class developers of Respawn,” said Douglas Reilly, vice president of Lucasfilm Games. “We are thrilled to bring the next chapter in Cal Kestis’ journey to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for players around the world.”
