Indiana Jones: Not Xbox exclusive after all?

Indiana Jones (Action-Adventure) von Bethesda / Microsoft

According to new statements from an industry insider, the upcoming game from Bethesda, or Machine Games, about the crumbly whip-swinger, will probably also be available for other consoles.

When Microsoft had incorporated the more or less capable game developer Bethesda and its subsidiaries such as Machine Games, ID Software and Arkane Studios, many players were concerned: will all future games from their hands only be made for Xbox consoles and the PC?

A new decision on a case-by-case basis?

One thing is for sure: the next popular hits like Starfield or Elder Scrolls 6 will only appear in the Xbox universe. With Indiana Jones, which is currently in development at Machine Games, the situation is different according to industry specialist Jez Corden. Because according to its current information, Microsoft is also planning a release on other platforms. A Playstation version of the latest adventures of the enterprising Doctor Jones could become a reality.

No gameplay yet

Since the announcement of Indiana Jones from Machine Games, apart from a more or less meaningful tracking shot over a desk peppered with details, there hasn’t been any further information or even gameplay material. That could change soon, maybe Indy will inspire with the first game scenes at the upcoming Microsoft and Bethesda showcase on June 12th at 19:00?
