Microsoft: Could climb to second place in gaming revenue after Activision acquisition

After completing the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Microsoft could become number two in global gaming revenue.

According to StatistaCharts, the Microsoft group ranked fourth in global gaming revenue last year with sales of $12.9 billion.

The Tencent group was in first place with 32.2 billion, Sony far behind with 18.2 billion.

Activision Blizzard is also in the top 5 list.

If the planned and currently ongoing acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft is completed positively in the coming year, Microsoft could catapult to second place with a total of 21 billion dollars, based on the data from 2021.
