Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: Game director aims for darker setting

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor director Stig Asmussen wants to implement a darker setting than its predecessor.

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was officially announced on Friday, the game is called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The sequel will continue to follow the protagonist of the first part, Cal Kestis. However, this time director Stig Asmussen spoke in a somber and hopeless tone.

in one Interview on the official Star Wars website When asked if the next part would be “more mysterious and menacing,” Asmussen replied:

“Yes, bull’s eye, that’s exactly the goal of the atmosphere. Leaving the player with a lot of questions that are very intriguing. The game is all about survival. That’s why we called it Jedi: Survivor. They are in dark times, and Cal and his crew are doing whatever it takes to stay alive.”

During the course of the interview, Asmussen mentions that it can mean making in-game connections with people who might otherwise be considered undesirable.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be set approximately five years after its predecessor, and with his sidekick BD-1, Cal embarks on a journey to learn new skills and deepen his connection with the Force.
