From Chaos to Perfection: Community Cable Management – Reminder

From Chaos to Perfection: Community Cable Management - Reminder

from Stephen Wilke
The moderator DaxTrose created a thread in the PC Games Hardware Extreme forum about the back of PCs. There is a good reason for this: In many threads in which users can present their computers, only the front can usually be seen.

Unfortunately, the picture thread on cable management has become quieter, although laying cables is still of great importance for a tidy PC interior. If you are looking for inspiration or would like to present your own PC, then the best place is in Image thread that talks about the back of the PCs.

Why is DaxTrose actually interested in the back side? He believes that many PC owners have now perfected cable management to such an extent that even the back panel is worth showing on the forum. Even simple wiring can look very successful. The thread is open to any community member: it doesn’t matter if the cables are sheathed or not, or if there is order or chaos. So variety is key!

Users with a modular power supply usually find it a bit easier to keep cable chaos in check. The space available behind the mainboard carrier is also crucial. Wide cases usually offer a little more leeway. If you want to show the community what the back of your machine looks like or are just looking for ideas for better cable routing, the image thread on the PCGHX forums is the place to go: [Bilderthread] Behind the scenes – PCs from behind
