From Software’s games are as popular as ever. Not only is the new open-world adventure Elden Ring the talk of the town, older titles like Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and Sekiro are still favorites for many players. All of these games are perfectly playable on PC, but one particular FromSoftware title that’s a gamer’s absolute favorite remains exclusive to PlayStation.

Bloodborne Remake turns out to be fake

We’re talking about 2015’s Bloodborne, of course, and if you happened to be surfing the web over the weekend you might have caught sight of the news of a Bloodborne remaster for PC and PlayStation 5. At first glance, it seemed as if this announcement would differ from the well-known Twitter user Nibellion come from, which has been on the platform since 2012 and has published numerous leaks about video games over the years.

Unfortunately, the Bloodborne announcement turned out to be an impostor who merely impersonated Nibellion, leading numerous From Software fans to believe that Bloodborne was finally coming to PC. The new version should include some improvements, such as support for 60 FPS, 4K, and ray tracing. Sony studios Bluepoint Games and Nixxes Software are said to be collaborating on the project, and “NIbellion,” which has since changed its Twitter handle again, even added a Sony blog post to the post.

Upon closer inspection, it was quite obvious that this was a hoax. For example, the blog post linked to a 2015 article that discussed the longevity of Bloodborne (buy now ) celebrated. Also, Nibellion’s name was misspelled. But as is the case, numerous users were happy about this great news, so that even the real Nibellion had to tweet about it, that there is currently no news about Bloodborne.

in one Conversation with Kotaku the Twitter user explained that he was impersonating Nibellion because I guess it’s pretty easy to do. The well-known insider’s account is not verified, which is why he just wanted to have fun with his followers. With Bloodborne’s huge popularity and the lack of a PC version, it should be pretty easy to spread rumors about the game. The user himself would at least be very happy about a Bloodborne remaster.
