The Sony PS5 is still alone, but the PlayStation VR 2 will soon be keeping her company. According to the leak, the VR glasses will be released in early 2033.

Initially, 1.5 million units of the PlayStation VR 2 are to be produced. The VR glasses for the PS5 should then celebrate their release at best in early 2023. However, according to Kuo, the release date of the PlayStation VR 2 also depends on whether Sony can complete enough launch titles for the new hardware by the time it is launched. Incidentally, one of these games is said to be a VR game from Kojima Productions – the developer of the PS5 blockbuster Death Stranding.

Then the next big State of Play of the console manufacturer will take place. Sony has already announced that the show will be dedicated to the first games for the PlayStation VR 2. However, it is not yet clear whether the release date of the VR headset will be elicited.
