4K TVs with HDR10
Xiaomi announced new televisions on Monday. The “Xiaomi F2 Fire TV” devices come in 43, 50 and 55 inches and are available in Germany from 339 euros.
If you are looking for a cheap television, you will get new options. Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi released three new devices with the name on May 30, 2022 Xiaomi F2 FireTV announced. In the sizes 43, 50 and 55 inches they are already in the Mi Shop and on Amazon available for 339, 379 and 419 euros. The company names a recommended price of 399 euros as an entry point. Until June 6th there is an “early bird discount” of up to 80 euros, at least for which in the Xiaomi shop another Mi Smart Speaker is given away.
As the name suggests, the new Xiaomi TVs offer one built-in Fire TV player. This gives you direct access to Amazon’s “Prime Video” library, for example, or you can use Netflix and Co. with apps that can be installed. As a Prime customer, you save yourself a stick or the Cube if you do that Streaming offer from the shipping giant want to use.
Technically, the Xiaomi does not offer any high-end specifications to match the price. With 4K resolution, 60Hz, support for HDR10 content and a “motion smoothing” function called MEMC, the Chinese would like to enable an enjoyable, up-to-date streaming experience. On the audio side, signals are converted into DTS Virtual:X, DTS-HD and Dolby Audio supports.
The F2 devices offer four “HDMI 2.1” connectorsthat support ALLM (automatic low latency mode) to allow less input lag in games. There are also two ports for USB, optical audio and a network connection.
Xiaomi brings the F2 TVs in Cooperation with Amazon on the market. Sales have already started. From May 30th at 10 am to June 6th at the same time there is in the official Mi Store for early buyers a discount of 60 to 80 euros and a Mi Smart Speaker for free. Then the apply Normal prices with 399, 449 and 499 euros.
