WoW Makes Sylvanas Sims Happy, Brings Playable Dark Rangers

Elf players in World of Warcraft cheer. From now on you can play Dark Rangers – a dream of many WoW fans has been fulfilled.

There are some wishes that players in World of Warcraft have been asking for for many years. Hunters in particular have long dreamed of roaming the World of Warcraft as Dark Rangers. Blizzard has now fulfilled exactly this longing for the players “by the way”. You can now roam Azeroth as Dark Rangers. Some new adjustments allow you to create really sinister elves.

What are Dark Rangers? From a story perspective, dark rangers have been hunters of the night, high, or blood elves, albeit those who have died. Forced back into their bodies by necromancy, they have a visually distinctive design.

For a long time they were essentially Sylvanas’ elite fighters, consisting of former high elves before night elves were also turned into dark rangers in Battle for Azeroth.

Incidentally, the original Dark Rangers were Banshees (a type of “spirit” of the Scourge) who later reclaimed their bodies. Newer dark rangers weren’t banshees, though.

For which races is this possible? All Elven races can select the new Dark Ranger customizations, so:

• night elves
• blood elves
• void elves

By the way, the customization is not limited to hunters, but all classes except demon hunters and death knights can access the new customizations. This means above all a pale, undead skin and the characteristic red eyes.

How to Unlock Dark Rangers? To unlock the new customizations, all you have to do is complete a fairly short quest chain at level 60. It starts in Oribos with Genn Greymane and should be offered to you directly in Oribos. If not, you may not have completed the current campaign on Zereth Mortis.

You can unlock it right now because patch 9.2.5 is live.

Hunters get new armor set: So, as a special bonus for hunters, there is even an exclusive armor set, with which you can not only look physically like dark rangers, but also wear the right clothes. The armor set corresponds visually to the dark rangers, which were mainly found in Battle for Azeroth.
