Devolver Direct 2022: Probably the best show of the year will take place on June 9th

What would the summer of events be without Devolver Digital? Only half as entertaining.

All the more gratifying that Devolver Direct will take place again this year. Or as the publisher calls it: Devolver Marketing Countdown to Marketing.

The countdown to disappointment

The “official marketing show promises more than can possibly be kept”. When do you see all this? On June 9, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. German time Twitter.

“The ‘Devolver Marketing Countdown to Marketing’ focuses on the 30 glorious countdown minutes before a typically anticlimactic big summer showcase and skilfully puts them in the spotlight,” it says.

“Based on extensive consumer research and focus testing, Devolver scientists have found that the countdown to a showcase is when audiences’ hopes are highest – before the inevitable disappointment sets in. Devolver set out to unleash that untapped potential before the show with the biggest countdown the industry has ever seen. But at what cost?”

According to the publisher, you can look forward to “at least four” video game announcements.
