Dragon Age: Dreadwolf: New information on the name and release period

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf (Rollenspiel) von Electronic Arts

The cat (or rather, the dragon) is finally out of the bag – we know what the title of the next installment in the popular BioWare series will be. There is also new information about the release.

Dragon Age 4 becomes Dragon Age: Dreadwolf

In addition to the logo and a small damper that the now fourth part will not make us happy this year, there is finally a specific name: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is supposed to be the long-awaited sequel, which translates as “dread wolf”. The developer revealed this in his new blog entry.

The logo is kept in a mysterious shade of purple, the white, ice-like lettering of the title clearly stands out. A more magical setting is conceivable, which would go wonderfully with Tevinter’s magician empire.

No release this year – 2023 conceivable as a possible period

There is no more concrete information yet, but publisher EA has given us a damper with a relatively clear statement on the possible release period: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will no longer be released in the current calendar year. A publication of the fourth part in 2023 is much more realistic.

At least BioWare promises us in its blog entry that we can expect some information about the title in the course of the year. We remain curious and will of course keep you up to date.
