Stray has a release date and is coming straight to PS Plus Extra and Premium
On the State of Play has last night Sony in addition to many other titles, new information about the cat adventure Stray presented. The new trailer shows great animated gameplay and impressive environments.
At the same time there was finally a final release date communicated. But that’s not all: All members of PS Plus from the level extra can play the game right from the start at no extra cost. So you can get started on July 19th and up PS4 and PS5 slip into the fur of the little cat.

in the Playstation.Blog the developers give further insights into the creation of “Stray” and the mysterious future world in which the game is located. The biggest challenge was obviously the Animation of the main character. A cat’s movements are so smooth and special that it takes a lot of fine-tuning to make them believable in a video game.
Cats (usually) master vertical obstacles in particular with a lot skill and elegance. The development team wanted this feeling Blue Twelve Studio communicate as realistically as possible. Apparently the sheer amount of funny ones helped cat videosthat hit the internet every day. Hardly any species has so much material that is freely available.
