Tunic: Zelda with Fox coming to PlayStation soon

Tunic (from 69.98€ at pre-order) , the loving action-adventure with charm and brains, will also be released for the two PlayStation consoles in autumn. A real highlight that no Zelda-loving Sony fan should miss out on.

There is not really much that is new to report at this point: Tunic by Canadian developer Andrew Shouldice, which he was finally able to complete in 2022 in collaboration with publisher Finji and people from Powerup Audio, Lifeformed and Burndown Productions, will be released on September 27th for PS4 and PS5. End of announcement? Nearly.

Of course, I would like to refer to our test at this point: “Tunic is a gem: Don’t let the sluggish beginning and some exaggerated difficulty peaks get you down – it’s worth leveling up, exploring and digging in. On the one hand, you discover one of the loveliest game worlds of the recent past On the other hand, finding shortcuts and secret passages feels very satisfying. And at the latest with the virtual instructions, I get excited – here the creativity and attention to detail of Shouldice and his small team are within reach.”

In short: action adventurers from the Sony camp can buy it (almost) without hesitation if they like 2D Zeldas or Death’s Door. Last but not least: We recently had an extensive chat with Tunic creator Andrew Shouldice about the development process – that’s why there will be an interview here on 4Players soon.
