AOC Agon Pro AG274QS: QHD with 300 Hz for e-athletes

AOC Agon Pro AG274QS: QHD with 300 Hz for e-athletes

from Maximilian Hohm
With the Agon Pro AG274QS, AOC has introduced a new high-end screen with QHD and a refresh rate of 300 Hz. The monitor should also be able to convince with high brightness, adaptive synchronization and much more. Read more about this below.

A compromise still has to be made when it comes to monitors. Gamers can choose between high resolutions like 4K and high refresh rates like 360Hz at lower resolutions. Unfortunately, these two features have not yet been combined and although 4K with 144 Hz is certainly attractive, many PCs do not achieve the necessary performance. With the Agon Pro AG274QS, AOC has now introduced a new e-sports monitor that could also offer enthusiasts a good compromise between resolution and refresh rate.

[PLUS]: Adjust and calibrate the gaming monitor optimally

The monitor has a resolution of Quad HD, i.e. 2,560 x 1,440, and is one of the first displays to support the high refresh rate of 300 Hz at this resolution. The 27-inch model has a pixel density of 109 ppi on its IPS panel. It supports HDR600 and offers a grey-to-grey response time of just one millisecond. Due to the three-sided frameless display, the monitor should also be well suited for Eyefinity or Surround setups.
