Pokémon GO Fest 2022: Did you notice the reference to the new raids in your research?

The Pokémon GO Fest 2022 is in full swing and with it the research on Shaymin. At the end there is already a teaser of what awaits us tomorrow.

This is the research: Saturday is all about Shaymin research, where you can choose different paths. In the end, however, each path leads you to the mysterious Pokémon – and of course to Professor Willow, who comments on the whole thing as usual.

This is the clue to tomorrow: The talkative professor ends up congratulating you on your encounter with Shaymin – and notices a strange hole in the sky at the end.

He says the whole thing reminds him of Hoopa—at least vaguely. But to him it looks more like a wormhole that has opened up.

And that basically makes it clear what awaits us tomorrow as a secret raid boss.

This means the wormhole: In Pokémon GO, the ultra beasts that are still known from the sun and moon games in the main series were recently announced. They are the enemies of the island guardians that have appeared in the game over the past few weeks.

These monsters also travel through dimensional portals. “Wormholes” just like they appeared over the head of the good professor.

The first of these Ultra Beasts was the jellyfish monster “Anego” in the main games. This was recently presented in connection with Pokémon GO. It’s now a pretty safe bet that this monster will show up as a boss tomorrow as well. Niantic has so far kept a low profile.

Another argument in favor of this is your Pokémon storage: if you send several monsters there and also include legendary monsters, you will get a display that says: Careful, your selection includes either legendary, mysterious Pokémon or Ultra Beasts.

Of course, one of the other Ultra Beasts could also show up as a boss tomorrow. However, based on the current status, this is rather unlikely.
