Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Overview: Habitat Spawns and Saturday Surprises

The big Pokémon GO Fest 2022 has started! Many exciting spawns and some surprises await you on Saturday. Here is the overview.

San Francisco – The first day of Pokémon GO Fest 2022 has started. On Saturday you have to focus on catching Pokémon. In line with this, Niantic spawns numerous rare Pokémon in a total of four habitats. There are also some surprises in the Shinys and other bonuses. We’ll show you all the Pokémon you can catch at GO Fest 2022 and reveal all the unannounced surprises.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022: All Pokémon in the habitats at a glance

This is how the habitats are divided: There will be four habitats in total, each running twice. Each habitat will be available for one hour at a time. In total, you will be able to catch Pokémon in the habitats for the full eight hours. Each habitat brings themed Pokémon with it. Any Pokémon that we mark with a star here can also be Shiny. This is how the habitats take place:

All City Habitat spawns: In the city habitat you will mainly find Poison and Psychic Pokémon. They are monsters that you can also find near town in the Pokémon games. Here is the overview:

Of particular interest here is Alola smogmog, which appears very rarely as a shiny and usually only in raids. You can also catch it in the wild for the GO Fest. Unratütox, Burmy and Nockchan also belong to the rarer Shinys. So you have the best chance of rare shinys in the city habitat.

All plains habitat spawns: This habitat is mostly populated by Ground and Normal Pokémon. There are numerous Pokémon that are otherwise very rare. Here is an overview of all spawns:

This hour will be really exciting! Here you will find some new Shinys. These include Camaub, Schnuthelm, and Milza. So you should focus your attention on these Pokémon in particular. But there are also other exciting spawns. Geronimatz, Bamelin, and Girafarig are all rare shinys to grab. But your main focus should be on Milza. The Pokémon is extremely rare and available as a Shiny for the first time.

All Rainforest Habitat Spawns: The focus here is on Pokémon of the water and grass types. They are the Pokémon that you can mainly catch in the jungle in the games. Here is an overview of all spawns:

At this hour there are two more new Shinys. Laukaps and Knilz appear here for the first time in the dazzling version. You should secure these Pokémon. Bithora and Pam-Pam are also interesting. Bithora is a rare Shiny, while Pam-Pam was previously only found in Raids or Crypto Eggs. You should use this chance.

All Tundra Habitat spawns: Water and Ice Pokémon await you here. Above all, there are the Pokémon that can be caught in cold, icy areas. All spawns can be found here:

There are no more new shinys for the last habitat hour. Galarian Flampion remains interesting here, which you normally only very rarely get as 7 km eggs. So you should take the chance of the shiny in the wild.

These spawns are permanently active: Throughout the event, you’ll find Pikachu wearing a special wreath of flowers. The Pokémon is the only monster to appear in the wild throughout GO Fest.

These spawns are permanently in the smoke: You will also find some Pokémon permanently in the smoke. These include the letters B, G, O, and U from Unown. All of these letters can also be caught as Shiny. Shiny B-Icognito appears for the first time in the iridescent form.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022: All surprises for the event at a glance

There are these surprises: Unfortunately, there are no big surprises, such as unannounced Shinys, this year. Some spawns that were not announced in advance are interesting. These include, above all, the further developments, such as Alola-Sleimok or Tandrak. They provide you with more XL candies in Pokémon GO, which is why you should definitely catch them.

You should also know that: In any case, there is good news. The smoke has been adjusted again for the GO Fest. It attracts a Pokémon every minute, making it much more effective. So it’s worth it if you use smoke permanently.

The GO Fest 2022 special research will be quite extensive this time and will change depending on the path you choose. But in the end, the rewards are the same everywhere.
