Pokémon GO Fest 2022: Overview of all content from Day 1

The first day of Pokémon GO Fest 2022 starts today. Here you can find all the content that awaits you on Saturday at a glance.

When does day 1 start? Pokémon GO Fest 2022 starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and ends at 6:00 p.m. It continues on Sunday, also at 10:00 am.

How do I join? There are two possibilities. Either you buy a ticket and get all the content of the GO Fest 2022. Or you play without a ticket – but then there are only limited features. Then you can do the raids, but you won’t get any extra raid passes, exclusive spawns or special research.

That brings the Saturday to the GO Fest 2022

The special research: The special research starts on Saturday, with which you can secure the mysterious Pokémon Shaymin in the landform – but only with a ticket. The research will offer you different ways to solve it and bring some rewards.

The Habitats: On Saturday, so-called “habitats” change every hour, i.e. habitats in which you meet different Pokémon. These are the “City”, “Plain”, “Rainforest” and “Tundra” habitats. You can play each habitat twice on GO Fest Saturday if you take the entire period with you.

• 10:00 a.m.: City
• 11:00 a.m.: level
• 12:00 PM: Rainforest
• 1:00 p.m.: Tundra
• 2:00 p.m.: City
• 3:00 p.m.: level
• 4:00 p.m.: Rainforest
• 5:00 p.m.: Tundra

Global Challenges: Each hour there will be a global challenge that all trainers around the world will have to solve together. Once done, a special bonus will be unlocked for the rest of the hour – these can be extra XP, Stardust and more. In addition, if enough challenges are completed, the “Ultra Bonus” will be unlocked for a future event.

Raids: Different raids with interesting Pokémon are running on Saturday. Especially there are the 1-star raids with Milza, which is otherwise very rare. There’s also a costumed Pikachu for GO Fest 2022.

Meanwhile, Kyogre and Groudon await you in the legendary raids. Important: You can also challenge the raids if you don’t have a ticket.

However, the secret raid boss announced for GO Fest 2022 will not appear until Day 2.

Exciting Pokémon and new Shinys: In the wild, with Ticket and the use of Smoke, you can encounter some monsters that are not usually found that often. You also have a chance of getting different shiny monsters.
