Resident Evil 4 Remake: Developers of Resident Evil 2 Remake present

Survival is just the beginning in the new resurrected Resident Evil 4 – Out March 24th, 2023.

Capcom, as we previously reported, has announced Resident Evil 4 Remake, a remake of Resident Evil 4 first released in 2005.

Revived in 2023, Resident Evil 4 retains the essence of the original while delivering modernized gameplay based on Capcom’s proprietary RE engine, as well as a reimagined storyline and detailed, vivid graphics. Resident Evil 4 is scheduled for release on March 24, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

The title that set the standard for the Resident Evil franchise, the original Resident Evil 4 introduced the third-person camera to the long-running franchise, which has sold 125 million units since its debut in 1996. This new perspective allowed players to relive the action and horror that befell protagonist Leon S. Kennedy during his daring rescue mission.

Resident Evil 4 follows Leon S. Kennedy six years after his hellish experiences of Raccoon City’s biological catastrophe. Because of his extraordinary determination, he was recruited as an agent reporting directly to the President of the United States. With the experience of numerous missions under his belt, Leon is tasked with rescuing the President’s recently kidnapped daughter. Leon tracks them down in a remote European village, but from the moment they make contact, he finds that the local population has a zeal for all common sense.

Now, this reimagined tale of survival in the face of overwhelming terror returns to deliver a visually stunning, modern gaming experience that lives up to the original release’s promise.

Many team members from the development of Resident Evil 2 Remake, the critically acclaimed bestseller of 2019, also return to delve deeper into the essence of Resident Evil 4.
