Steam hit My Time at Sandrock: Stardew Valley competitor with roadmap

from Rhonda Bachman
On May 26th, My Time at Sandrock entered Early Access on Steam. The developers have now shared a rough roadmap with the goals that the construction game should still achieve in 2022. In addition, the studio has a time window for the multiplayer mode of the western adventure.

The developers at Pathea Games have already created a simulation and building hit with My Time at Portia. With the second game, My Time at Sandrock, they seem to be on the same page. The game started Early Access on May 26, 2022 and has already won a few players over. The studio has now announced where the journey should go in 2022.

More features are expected to come in 2022

First of all, the developers of Pathea Games have reassured all multiplayer friends. At the start of Early Access, My Time at Sandrock only has a single player mode. However, the multiplayer mode is already in the works. Global testing is scheduled to start in September and October with all Early Access players. If these playtests are positive, the multiplayer mode could enter Early Access later this year.

However, further updates are also planned for the single player. A new patch is to be released in early August, which, among other things, will expand the main story and add two new story dungeons to the game. There are also new side quests in the city as well as more NPC dialogue and behavioral reactions from the townspeople. A mount training system and stables are also in the works.

The October update brings another story expansion and new story dungeons. The developers are also planning romance quests and a pet system. A rain and snow weather system will also be added, as well as the ability to farm fish.

My Time at Sandrock will also be updated with new content during the Christmas season. In the last major update of the year, there is an expansion of the main story. To this should be added some NPC romance quests and a marriage system. The player workshop is to be expanded to include a greenhouse. You should also be able to change the appearance of your equipment.
