Near-Mage: Prologue Available for Free Download – News

The Romanian indie studio Stuck In Attic, with its debut work Gibbous – A Cthulhu Adventure (to the game check) from 2019 has already proven that it can produce charming point-and-click adventures has today in an update at kickstarters the prologue to his upcoming adventure near mage free to download. The prologue gives you an insight into the first 30 to 45 minutes of the game. In it you control Illy, who leaves her parents’ house at the beginning to travel to her aunt in Transylvania. Once there, you’re allowed to explore the location, solve a few easy puzzles, meet some of the characters, and experience some of the atmosphere of the later game. It ends with the enrollment in the Mage Academy, so unfortunately you can’t try any spells yet.

The download weighs just over 1 gigabyte and is currently only available for PC. It contains English texts, the voice output is still missing. The finished game should be released in 2023 for PC, MacOS, Linux and consoles and will also contain German texts.
