New update 1.0.0 prepares upcoming season

Before the start of the first season, Battlefield 2042 will receive a new patch. This Tuesday the developers are rolling out Update 1.0.0 with a few changes, bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Among the highlights are changes to the gameplay of the soldiers, which should lead to smoother animations and movements overall. The shooter’s weapons have also received an updated netcode to improve bullet hit registration. The balance of some weapons has also been adjusted. The update has increased projectile speed for DMRs and LMGs and improved accuracy for shotguns.

There should also be several new XP events that players can use to get more experience points in a match. For example, there is XP for taking out an enemy that recently wounded or killed a squadmate. XP is also awarded for an enemy vehicle that you damaged yourself and are destroyed by a teammate. There are also other adjustments, such as an increased number of vehicles available in Conquest and improvements to VoIP (voice chat).
