gamescom 2022: Ticket sales have started and these are the prices

If you need a ticket for gamescom, you now have several options.

Are you already looking forward to being able to get a taste of real trade fair air live at gamescom 2022? Then you now have the opportunity to secure your ticket in advance. The prices depend on which day of the fair you choose. Discounted tickets, evening and family tickets as well as the special green and superfan tickets are also available. We give you an overview.

Overview of the tickets

It’s all about this: gamescom will take place from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th August in Cologne at the KoelnMesse site. However, Wednesday is trade visitor day, for which you cannot buy tickets. You can get your tickets directly from the gamescom website.

The day tickets cost:

• Thursday Friday: 25 euros/day
• Saturday Sunday: 30.50 euros/day

Discounted day tickets

You can buy a discounted ticket under the following circumstances: if you go to school, study, are a trainee, pensioner or senior over 65 or are severely disabled. Or if you are currently completing an FSJ or FÖJ. In any case, you will need proof of this. Remember to have him ready. Then your day tickets cost:

• Thursday Friday: 18 euros/day
• Saturday Sunday: 23 euros/day

Day pass family

There are also special tickets for the gamescom trip with the whole family. The following applies: a maximum of 5 people, including a maximum of 2 adults and at least 1 to a maximum of 3 children aged 7 to 16 years. The day ticket for everyone then costs:

• Thursday Friday: 40 euros/day
• Saturday Sunday: 50 euros/day

evening cards

You also have the option of purchasing an evening ticket for each day. This costs 9 euros/day, whether during the week or on weekends.

Special tickets

In addition to the day and evening tickets mentioned, there are two other options available to you. You can buy a so-called for an extra charge of 1 euro green ticket buy and support the gamescom forest. There is also the new superfan ticket. This gives you certain advantages such as 3 instead of 2 Fast Lane Tickets (for access to game stations, depending on availability).

Buy and redeem tickets

That’s how it’s done: You must first register for a Koelnmesse account in the ticket shop. The access data is also your access data for the gamescom ticketing app, which you will need in the next step.

The app is absolutely necessary because only digital tickets will be sold this year. You can find them in the App Store and Google Play Store. Log in to the app so that your ticket is displayed in the app. This digital ticket gives you access to gamescom.
