Is Hideo Kojima currently working on a horror game? Rumors about it have been floating around the web for a long time. A new leak now says that Margaret Qualley is part of the game – the actress who embodies Mama in Death Stranding.

But then there’s the name that intrigues me. I found Margaret Qualley’s performance in Death Stranding extremely powerful. It is partly thanks to her that I have taken Mama to my heart as a person. Just because of Qualley, I’ve only just started the Netflix series Maid, in which she wins me over again.

And that’s exactly what could make a horror game scary, although I’ve seen a lot: if the main character can reach me and I connect with them, then I’m scared for them too. A credible performance can make all the difference. The horror grabs more because I’m not completely indifferent to the person – and I see good opportunities in the combination of Qualley and Kojima. Another reason is that Kojima’s PT demo was never released Silent Hills It’s still one of my favorite horror experiences.
