The farming sim achieved cult status after its release in 2016 and is still one of the most well-known and celebrated indie titles ever. This is probably due to the fact that the game comes from a single developer: Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. Incidentally, the industry icon is now working on his next title, which will be called “Haunted Chocolatier” and will go in a roughly similar direction to Stardew Valley.
