Even worse are the stories surrounding stalkers, which is why streamers like sweet_anita had to move. Also Twitch’s biggest streamer xQc had to move because of doxing. A particularly violent case of stalking is currently involving Twitch streamer Amouranth, who recently went public with it because she fears for her life because of this person.
Stalker wants to marry Amouranth and invests everything for it
According to her own statement, she is being harassed by a stalker who has tracked her down in her hometown and even twitch-streams in hopes of finding her.
On June 7th, 2022, Amouranth published a series of tweets detailing the circumstances of her stalker, who has been reported to be harassing her since May 8th. She claimed that the person “sold all her worldly possessions” to travel to her hometown from Estonia. “He literally watches my stream all day and mimics everything I do,” Amouranth said. “[Er] does bad ASMR and showers on his twitch stream when I’m on the hot tub stream.”
Since moving near where they live, the stalker has apparently had one Created a twitch stream called Find Kaitlyn and Make Her My Wife hoping to find her in her town.
Fans should not report stalker stream
However, Amouranth added that she doesn’t want fans to report the possessed stranger’s channel so she can ‘keep a close eye’ on him and it is “valuable information for her well being and my peace of mind”.
Amouranth assured her fans that she is taking many precautions to protect herself, including installing a “security system” and an “armed staff member who resides in the guest quarters.” The police were also “informed about the situation”. However, she was understandably shocked by the events and “feared for her life” because she was worried “that he might do something drastic.”
