Epic Store: Free game available now, next gift revealed

Like every week, we didn’t mysteriously skip Thursday, which means there’s a new free game available for all users to download on the Epic Games Store. This time it was again a “mysterious gift”, so until the activation at 5 p.m. sharp we had no idea which title it would actually be. Recently there were a few real blockbusters in the Epic Game Store, namely Borderlands 3 and the complete Bioshock trilogy including all expansions.

Now we finally know what game Epic Games Store users can look forward to this week. Players have until June 16 at 5 p.m. to play the game maneater free over the Epic Games Store to acquire. If the game is linked to your library, nobody can take it away from you. At least as long as the Epic Games Store servers are online. In the open-world action RPG, you slip into the role of a shark, have to survive as a cub in the unforgiving world and eat your way up the ecosystem. Of course, you will encounter various enemies, both animals and humans.

Those responsible at Epic Games have already announced next week’s free game. From June 16th, users will be able to access supraland a puzzle game that describes itself as a cross between Portal, Zelda, and Metroid. So you solve puzzles, fight monsters, and find different skills that you can use to explore new places.
