Playing games regardless of the platform: Microsoft has been pursuing this vision for quite some time. Thanks to cloud streaming and mobile linking, Xbox and Game Pass games can now also be played on mobile devices without a console. And by the end of the month there will be another option for those with the appropriate devices. Because as Microsoft just announced, the Xbox app from June 30th also offered for smart TVs.

Important limitation here: The app will initially only be available for devices from the 2022 series from the manufacturer Samsung. However, Microsoft has been in talks with other TV providers for some time, so more are likely to follow in the future.
