The game draws clear inspirations from Vampire Survivors, which in turn draws inspiration from titles like Nova Drift, Magic Survival, and all of them. In 20 Minutes Till Dawn, however, the player has a little more to do, because here it is necessary to shoot at the approaching hordes of monsters yourself. Players choose one of currently seven different characters and equip them with one of seven different weapons. During a run, you then have to collect experience points and thereby unlock various passive abilities.
