How Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 aims to revolutionize the future of the series

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is expected to represent a revolution or a strategic change for the Call of Duty series when it is released later this year.

According to publisher Activision, all Call of Duty games will be based on the same game engine in the future.

According to the publisher, more than 3,000 employees are now working on Call of Duty.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will be released thereafter and in 2022. A specific date is still pending.

The previous Warzone will be continued separately. You cannot transfer your progress and inventory to Warzone 2.0.
