In Guild Wars 2 we can draw on a mountain of armor sets to beautify our heroes. Inevitably, this also leads to impressive cosplay, as one artist shows with her beautiful replica of a very popular armor set.
The MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is packed with gorgeous armor sets to dress up our adventures beautifully. Such a shell is sometimes even quite literal, because there is the so-called carapace armor, which consists partly of insect parts. He has this Cosplayer Star Tea liked it so much that she had to recreate and wear the armor herself. The result is really impressive:
As in the game, the visually stunning armor uses a mix of insect parts such as butterfly wings and thick armor. On top of that, the artist from Switzerland also has one of her favorite swords in her hands, or to be more precise, this Dwayna sword, which you can easily get from the Trading Post. In a Reddit comment even Senior Prop Artist Chelsea Mills (designer of the new Aurene Legendarys) turned on and celebrated the cosplay of Star Tea and asked directly how she got the color – she is also a cosplayer herself.

How do you get this carapace armor in Guild Wars 2?
If you also like the look of Star Tea, you can not only recreate it, but also wear it in the game. Because, as already mentioned, it is a heavy armor set from the living world. The carapace armor comes in light, medium and heavy variants – for all versions you complete activities in the second season in the Silverwastes. If you complete story episodes 5, 6, 7 and 8 once, you will get all parts of the set in a version of your choice, for example “Hard”. If you then also want the missing armor classes, you can buy the remaining armor parts from dealers who accept bandit crests. For example, the Priory Historian in the Camp of Fortitude at the entrance to the Silverwastes.
