Modern Warfare 2 was shown for the first time and received two trailers. Here you can see the reveal trailer and the first gameplay.

Update from 06/10/2022: One day after Modern Warfare 2 was revealed, Activision immediately added new footage. During the trailer flood at Summer Game Fest 2022, there was a first look at the gameplay of the campaign. Part of the “Dark Water” mission was shown.

After a short first teaser a few days ago, a new live-action trailer has officially revealed the exact date for the big, global unveiling of Modern Warfare 2, i.e. the new Call of Duty 2022. We’ll show you the trailer and tell you everything you need to know about today’s Modern Warfare 2 reveal.

Modern Warfare 2: New live-action trailer reveals Reveal date and time

Where does the information come from? After the release date of Modern Warfare 2 was revealed with an artwork teaser a few days ago, Activision presented a new live action trailer on the evening of June 2nd.

In the bombastic video entitled “Official Ultimate Team Teaser” under the motto “The ultimate weapon is team” you not only get a foretaste of the action with iconic characters of Task Force 141, but also a look at the official reveal at the end -Date for the new Call of Duty 2022. The exact time of the unveiling has also already been shared in the accompanying video description and on Twitter.

When exactly does it start? The worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 takes place today, June 8th (06/08/2022), at 7:00 p.m. German time.

Modern Warfare 2: Call of Duty probably before returning to Steam

Also interesting: More or less at the same time, it also came out that Call of Duty will apparently return to Steam with this year’s release of Modern Warfare 2 on October 28, 2022. Corresponding artwork was first discovered on Valve’s gaming platform a few days ago. After the release of the new live-action trailer, the official Steam account on Twitter also retweeted the video.

Steam would hardly do that without an official connection to the game. Experts and the gaming press now see the whole thing as safe in principle.
