Bethesda shows 15 minutes of gameplay from "Starfield"

The US software giant Microsoft presented real game scenes from the eagerly awaited science fiction role-playing game “Starfield” for the first time as part of a major streaming show at the “Xbox Showcase”. A whopping 15 minutes of gameplay show the most important game elements.

In “Starfield” the player, as a space traveler, is taken to foreign worlds where he encounters alien creatures, fights and explores the terrain. In the video, the developers show how it plays: There is RPG gameplay like in “Fallout”, lots of dialogue, but also a space component like in “No Man’s Sky”. There is also some base building. Starfield is set in a fictional universe in which different factions fight for dominance that the player can join. As is typical for the genre, you should also be able to recruit different companions. “Starfield” is due to be released for PC and Xbox consoles in 2023 after a postponement. A PS5 release is apparently no longer planned after Microsoft took over developer Bethesda.
