Somewhat surprisingly, Blizzard was also represented with Diablo 4 at the Xbox Showcase as part of the Summer Game Fest 2022. A chilling CG trailer introduced us to the Necromancer as a fifth class, and gameplay followed as well. The best thing is that with a bit of luck you’ll soon be able to put your hands on the slasher yourself, because registrations for a beta are now being accepted.

How to join the Diablo 4 beta

Registration on website: If you want to test Diablo 4 extensively before the release, go to the official one Diablo 4 home page and log in with your Battle.net account, which is mandatory for participation.

Once you have done that, you can enter your data and send off the application. Yes, that’s right, this is just an expression of interest. You will find out at a later date whether you will actually be selected for the test phase.

Blizzard has not yet announced when the beta will start.

You can participate on these platforms: Diablo 4 is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

However, the last-gen consoles are excluded from the beta, presumably to showcase the title at its best. Maybe the PS4 and Xbox One versions aren’t quite there yet. You won’t be asked for your platform when registering, so you can decide later where you want to play the beta. The beta is available on the following systems:

More news about Diablo 4:

When is Diablo 4 coming out? Along with Overwatch 2, Diablo 4 was indefinitely delayed late last year. As part of the Xbox Showcase, it recently became more concrete: 2023 should be the time. Since the presentation only showed titles that should be released in the next twelve months, a release in the first half of 2023 is currently planned.

The upcoming beta shows that Diablo 4 is already quite far in the development and could appear earlier than expected.
