Elden Rings Update 1.05 focuses on bug fixes

In terms of content, there are not that many innovations in this patch for Elden Ring. Rather, update 1.05 focuses on repairing annoying bugs. There are also a few small changes for the New Game Plus.

Who does not honor the bug fix is not worth the content

Let’s start with the bugs. FromSoftware fixes many bugs in the combat system that affect certain weapons, for example. For example, the effect of Royal Knight’s Resolve should wear off at the right time for all weapons, and the moonlight great sword will also receive a fix so that it really hits the targets you’re aiming for – which sometimes didn’t quite work out.

The update also accounts for errors in bosses and characters as well as their quest lines. For example, after installing the patch, players should be able to return to the Map of Mercy after defeating Radahn. A bug where Malenia was low on life in her second phase and Alexander’s quest line have also been addressed.

Other Elden Ring news:

In multiplayer, there are some stability improvements, faster load times, text and sound fixes, and other performance boosts.

In the New Game Plus you can now take some of your sound beads with you on the new journey – so to speak, because in NG+ you can buy items from the twin dealers that you unlocked in the previous run with the sound beads. A few additional sound effects for other players’ summoner tokens complete the package.
