Geilo! One of the best JRPG series lands on PC and Xbox Game Pass
At the Xbox and Bethesda showcase on June 12, 2022, Microsoft surprisingly announced a partnership with Atlus. The new collaboration is said to be about releasing some games in the iconic Persona series for the first time on PC and Xbox.
heard for me As is well known, 2017 was one of the best games of all time. Thanks to Divinity: Original Sin 2, Nier: Automata, Super Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Prey and of course Persona 5. The latter JRPG from Atlus is a feast for every genre fan for several reasons. The interlocking of the genre-typical fights in the fictional metaverse, the realistic activities in everyday school life and the motivating role-playing framework works brilliantly, the story is exciting, the characters are likeable and the fantastic audio-visual style is still unparalleled today.
Persona Coming Soon to PC and Xbox!
In principle, Persona 5 has only two major weaknesses. Number 1: It is so incredibly extensive. For a run you have to plan about 80 to 100 hours (or even more). This also results in one or the other length, and the good story only slowly gets rolling. Number 2: The Persona series, which in turn is a spin-off from the Megami Tensei series, was primarily at home in the Playstation cosmos for many years, and Persona 5 is no exception.
The good news for all PC and Xbox gamers: At the Xbox and Bethesda showcase on June 12, 2022, Microsoft surprisingly announced a partnership with Atlus. The new collaboration aims to bring the following games from the iconic Persona series to PC and Xbox for the first time:
- Persona 3 Portable (PS2, PSP)
- Persona 4 Golden (PS2, PSVita, Steam)
- Persona 5 Royal (PS4)
The royal version of Persona 5 is scheduled to start on October 21, 2022, which will be released simultaneously for PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Game Pass. There are no specific dates for Persona 4 and 3 yet. As soon as that changes, we will keep you informed.
